roundup : halloween crafts

October 27, 2011 by Ella

Hello everyone. Halloween is almost here. Are you ready?

Here are some awesome crafts you could still do in time for the big scary night!

1. Perching Blackbirds

2. Owl Costume – ohh I love this!

3. Felted Mummy Doll

4. Black Cats

5. Salt Dough Pumpkins

I’m still trying to squeeze some crafting for this Halloween, I hope that will actually happen as I would like to get my daughter involved – she loves it when we do something fun together. I really like these projects above – they’re simple yet very creative and fun ;) And not freakish like some decorations out there.

I think Trick or Treating will be very tough this year with a very sensitive 4 year old. I think we might just end up going to our two neighbours and we’ll call it a night. Do you have little sensitive ones that are having a hard time dealing with the frightfulness out there? How do you deal with it? Please share as I will need some help here  ;)

Are you making some Halloween decorations or crafts?
Please share and leave a link to something you’ve done! We would love to see your creations.

These are great ideas. We make little paper crafts and of course jackolanterns.
I hope your daughter will be ok to spend some time trick or treating :)

I love these ideas. I have been drowning in so much work that I need to start crafting again. I love the little pumpkins

Beautiful and eloquent sharing. *I don’t know how you have the time for all this, so very well done!*
Robert Munsch has a book, “From Far and Away”, which could help Gabrielle. Something that has also helped people overcome fears, is this- our town has a store to store; businesses included, day-light trick-or-treat event, starts around 3-4pm., ends right around 6pm./dark:) Maybe late for this year, but next!?*
    Hope you Have Fun!
