Hello beautiful people ;) I hope you all had a great weekend. We had the most beautiful weather on both days so it was a lot of long walks….. which I loovvveee ;) We hit a trail that starts from our house and continues endlessly through the city but it’s so lush that you’d think you’re in a forest the whole way through. Funny, I’ve lived here for almost four years, and I’m still discovering new pockets of surprises around the neighbourhood. We did 3 hours of that with the little one and grandpa (yes. my FIL) Surprisingly, it was a really fun and relaxing walk. Almost 15 years of knowing him – and I’m finally starting to like the guy ;)
And on Sunday, I just went around with the little one and sat in the sun, appreciating every last beam, fully knowing that it’s the last of the warm weather. I find the sunshine so healing and beautiful – but I was still surprised to see a slight burn to my face – oh well, a little dose of Vit. D will just make me happier ;)
There’s been great progress with the kitchen – which is why the walks were sans hubby. It is looking AMAZING (still very rough – drywall being finished but very much amazing just from the progress perspective). We have made our final (let’s hope) pick for the floor – so far so good. Now, the next step is to finally order those kitchen cabinets! (Yes, we kind of get things as we need them and don’t really plan ahead too much…. ;)
I hope you had a great weekend too. I would love to hear about it ;)
And thanks everyone for your Birthday wishes last week.
Here’s some Monday love with this cool youtube clip of 100 years of style in London. Check it out:
Isn’t that totally cool? Of course, I do feel like now we just borrow from these past decades and perhaps the 80’s were the last original fashion decade? No?
