happiness is… waiting for the storm to pass

October 29, 2012 by Ella

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”

happiness is…

having everything I ever wanted

a roof over my head

a safe neighbourhood I can walk through at night and have kids run around

food on the table

a few pieces of a pumpkin cheesecake still in the fridge

a great family I can always depend on

friends who make me laugh and cry

ginger tea

a new front door that looks amazing

a husband who insisted that is his birthday gift

a little one who gets more and more into crafting and leaves a sparkly mess on my home office floor that only makes me smile

making a yarn wig for my Lalaloopsy Girl for Halloween

being at peace with everything in my life this very minute

feeling grateful for everything that’s right in front of me

That’s my happiness.

Life isn’t always perfect… but I choose to Dance in the Rain…

What’s making you happy right now?

*good luck to everyone who is in the path of Hurricane Sandy*

Another great list! Can’t wait to see your little one’s finished costume. Sounds so cute.

If you get a chance, come and enter my giveaway for a pampering Lady Soma antioxidant berry masque. :)

I hope you and your family were able to stay safe during the storm!

What’s making me happy, is that I finally feel that our life rhythm has slowed down. I am no longer stressed out on a daily basis. If I feel like I don’t have time to do something that I had planned on doing, then I just do it later. The kids and I are so much happier for it!

      Hi Mary Frances,
So sorry and thank you for letting me know ;)
I had no idea, and sometimes it’s really hard to find the original source, when I can, I do add it into the blog.
I loved checking out your sites and what a small world that you’re also a graphic designer and gluten free too ;)
Would you reconsider having me use the poster if I did add your credit now that I know who created it?
If not, I completely understand and will remove it asap.
      Thanks! xo Ella
