our easter weekend

This year, we celebrated our Easter at my sister’s. It was really a blessing to get out of the house and just dress up and put on a little make up even – how fun! So thank you sister for such a great dinner that even a semi-vegan and gluten-free gal really filled up on ;) We had a great time. I brought my infamous lentil casserole and a home baked vegan and gluten free berry pie – that was so incredibly delicious. (without any artificial additives) (recipe to follow).

I think both me and my husband relaxed and just enjoyed being ‘guests’ ;) And of course, it was so sweet watching our kids play and run! That’s right, the little man (my nephew) walks now – even runs ;) They are so adorable together.

I was happy to get into some shots with my girl – I am not in many photos (you know, I’m the girl behind the lens) but these ones I will always treasure and I’m so happy I nagged my husband to take ;) Thanks hon.

This was all of course on Sunday. What did we do on the other days? Well, let’s just say it’s too much to wrap up in a single post.

We had a great party on Friday (girl’s only. sort of a playdate. but with party dresses – and a crazy photo shoot you will adore!) The mamas (my awesome friends) also had a great time, that we forgot about cookie decorating and egg painting projects that were standing by… Thanks girls for coming over – I will have the photos for you tomorrow ;)

And on Saturday, my girl got a brand new (to her – because it was a steal from Kijiji) shiny new purple bicycle (with training wheels) – and she is already hard to catch!

So my sweet dear blog readers aka sweet dear friends, how was your weekend?
And if you’ve written about it, leave a link in the comments below ;)

Have a lovely week ahead! Ours will be filled with lots of lil’ bike rides for sure….
