this week : freebie

January 6, 2012 by Ella

Hello my friends! It’s our first Friday of this brand-spanking New Year! How was it? How was your beginning ~ are you set out on a new path in life, making resolutions, or already breaking them?

Our week wasn’t bad at all (aside from what you’ve already here). All that emotional drama is released from me now, and I sure hope to carry on happily through this year ~ or at least through this weekend, or maybe even just through today ;). (better not let me get started ;)

Let’s jump right through to this week. We had a good relaxing week, there’s no kindergarten until Monday so it was a lazy kind of a week. Our highlight was getting Daisy! Daisy is a little canary who is the cutest addition to our family and our (ahem) decor ;)

I really want to take Friday as a day to reflect on the week and pull out what’s important to hold on to. This is my stab at journalling, because I have learned (and most likely you have too) time just keeps moving too fast. I often think I will remember things that are done or said, or where we went or even just little silly things that happen that make up our life. You know, the good things. Well, this is a way to keep track of those good things each week, this week.

I hope you will be inspired to journal in your own ‘this week‘, and if you do, here’s a template to get you started. Simply print as many as you need or 13 – to get you through 52 weeks of this year – and you’re good to keep track of the good things in life.

then cut into four parts (follow marks on the side).
you can stitch or hole punch on top and run a string through to create a mini book
you can cut on drop in your own photos into the polaroid photo
{I will finish up my little book and show you the end result soon}

Please share what your highlight was this week!
