Hello to Friday! Don’t know but this december is zooming by faster and faster….. does it feel like that for you too?
First off, I have to say a big Thank You to everyone who entered my Natural Christmas Giveaway this week and left such beautiful comments. (still on till Sunday so please don’t forget to enter it if you haven’t already) I keep going back to that post and just reading about what peace means to you…. Just wonderful ;) So even though the post is about a gift from me to you, I’m really getting a heaps worth of wisdom and happiness, as a gift from you!
So onto this week’s highlight for us…
Yup. The luscious curls are gone!
That and an emergency doctor visit with a black eyed pea up her nose! All is good though ;)
(I will have the full drama of the haircut in a post all its own next week ;)
How was your week? Are you all ready for the Holiday season?
We will be decorating the house this weekend so for sure I will have something to show you next week (so far the jobs from the reno need to get finished up). Please leave a link in the comments below or link up to a post if you’ve written about this week’s highlight.
PS . don’t forget to enter the Natural Christmas Giveaway ~ on through till Sunday!

oh wow! My parents wouldn’t let me cut my hair off until I was 10-ish, and then my dad kept the chopped off locks as a bread in a box…..I remember thinking how I was a “grown up” now because I had short hair….and then of course the adult years came and I grew my hair back out long! She looks adorable, however. Big step!

Hi Laura,
I loved your childhood story ;)
I have to say that this was NOT my idea but hers ;P

Ok, I have to admit. I gasped outloud. Haha. Your sweet little girl is going to look more grown up now! Can’t wait to hear the rest of this saga.
The photos are adorable – love the first one with her little tummy showing. :)

Awwww — she looks so sweet with her new hair-do.
Last night my 8 year old begged for a bob. I was really torn about it, but she was so sure she’d love it (and she does!). She looks cute, but it will take me some getting used to it.
