this moment :: my little cowgirl

October 29, 2010 by Ella

this-moment-halloween cowgirl costume

(my little one went off to her Hallowe’en Party at her daycare dressed as a Cowgirl – you know… she’s back but hasn’t really been out of character yet ;)
I think this movie, has a lot to do with it! Have you guys seen it? It’s fantastic! A little dark and mind twisting – but great fun for kids and adults alike ;)

Inspired by SouleMama. Leave a link to your ‘moment’ in the comments for all to find and see.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Hope it’s filled with lots of fun and excitement!

HAPPY HALLOWE’EN!

Absolutely adorable! I wish I could get my daughter to get over her pink obsession – I don’t know where she gets it from – I’m strictly a neutrals girl myself. This outfit is so cool!

I love your halloween craft ideas. I wish I’d dropped by a couple of days ago as these would have inspired me out of my Halloween funk.

    Have a great weekend!

Oh my! Is she ever cute?! I love the cowgirl outfit. That will have to go on the list of possible future costumes and play outfits at our house! Your photograph and blog are lovely!

Thanks everyone for your comments ;)
I should probably point out that this is a totally unplanned costume that got pulled together the night before.
She declared she wants to be a cowgirl! (and not the unicorn she already has – which is ok, because it’s one of those big furry ones and she would get too hot at daycare wearing it – we’ll save that one for Sunday (if she will still want it ;)

So I grabbed a pair of jeans, with MY texas-inspired belt (you can see it’s wrapped around her all the way (added a stick on velcro to hold the buckle in place) Clever Right? ;D
She had the cowboy hat from my brother’s, she borrowed it a few days before because she loved it so much – I think this was her whole inspiration – it’s a great hat – – a real cowboy/cowgirl one FROM TEXAS!
The shirt, is actually a dress that I tied at her waist – you can’t tell but it’s just all random stuff thrown together.
There will be lots of tears when that cowgirl hat will need to get returned ;)
There you have it, a bit of a story behind the shot ;)
BIG HUGS & HAPPY WEEKEND TRICK OR TREAT’N
    XOXO

She is so pretty and cute! My Mara (almost 5) told me that she will never wear anything than dresses or skirts and so she does! I wish sometimes would put on some jeans…
    Happy Halloween!

Such a cute photo of your little girl with her pony.

My children have their own little ponies and just love them.

This is a little video of them if you have a chance to look it’s on my blog.
