finding beauty

September 30, 2011 by Ella

Well hello Friday and hello to you too! It’s getting chilly ~ are you feeling it where you live?

We’ve been getting outside of the house more often (because of this). And going out for walks and just trying to enjoy the change of seasons – all bundled up in layers, of course. I took my camera out for one of our walks to make sure I capture some of that beauty… It’s great to slow down and enjoy our surroundings with all its beauty.

I’m feeling so inspired by the crispness and the chill in the air. Breathing in cool air feels so purifying, no?  The change in textures and colours are so beautiful you want to touch them.

Are you slowing down and noticing the changes around you? How is that inspiring you?

Well I don’t feel very well, I have a headache. I only hope to have a better winter that last one :(
Last winter each week I have a new pain :D
Tomorrow I’m going to be without children, because I’m going to a carving class, to do rubber stamps :) I’m going to keep my camera, maybe, can I took some pictures but not outside only in class. Today was a good day to keep my camera but I felt tired and came back to home really exhausted with my two littles.
I need a day at free air but alone, only some hours :D

Giozi, I hope you will get your rest and feel better soon.
Enjoy the workshop – it sounds really interesting.
I think I will look into some classes for me in the neighbourhood. I think it’s good to get out and do something for yourself and be around inspiring people.
      All the best. Ella

Beautiful photo. I was slow to embrace it this year, but autumn is my favorite season. Right now I am trying to enjoy the constant storms we have been having-monsoons. It’s not hard though-listening to thunder and smelling the hard rain. Have a great weekend.

it’s a beautiful time of year. lovely photo for sure… and that wind that is blowing tonight is definitely one of those rare only-this-time-of-year kinds of wind… it smells like change, a welcome change.

kitchen renos are one of the harder ones to live through…it’s such a hub of the home. all the best to you! glad you’ve been able to enjoy the fresh air.
