It’s this time of the year again, where we welcome a new season…. and say good bye to the old : Spring
Please join me, will ya, on a fun little flashback of what spring had to offer with: Seasons in Review.
(to play along, please copy the questions and answer them in your own words on your blog. Try to link back to your archives as much as you can so it becomes a fun read to go through your old posts. Grab one of the badges and have fun!) (you may find it easier to copy the questions from this post)
1. What made Spring so memorable?
Spring is my favourite time of the year. I love the visual rebirth of greenery and first flowers poking their heads out. I also do enjoy the wardrobe change ;) For me my most memorable moment is my first lunch outdoors just enjoying the sun and feeling happy that it’s finally warm outside ;) (I do feel though we get ripped off with spring especially – it doesn’t get warm enough until mid May – that’s almost two months into spring – not fair ;P)
2. Have you done/tried/cooked/tasted something completely new?
Yes I tried raw food. No not steak tartare – – raw food, as in food that is not fully cooked, unprocessed, and vegan. I was completely surprised with the richness of flavours and the freshness of our meal. It was pure heaven – especially the raw vegan chocolate cheesecake! I will have a review of it soon ;) I loved it sooo much. You may be seeing a few of my own experimenting of raw vegan cooking (or I should say, uncooking ;) here on this blog – maybe. Just sayin’ – it was very inspiring.
And – I took a few weeks off blogging. That was totally new. And I survived. It wasn’t the end of the world ;) I needed the break and glad I took. Happy to be back in blogland though ;) Ohhh and I tried some home made scrubs and face masks!
3. How did you express yourself creatively?
As usual I wish I did more projects, but I never cross enough from my list to be fully satisfied. I did make a few fun projects though such as a recycled flower wreath, decoupaged some old desk drawer handles into some fun stylish ones, and I decorated my daughter’s room – which totally paid off, as it won 1st International place on the Ohdeedoh Smaller Cooler Contest ;), and of course, went nuts with a few fun photoshoots, like this one with four little girls and the one with the balloons.
4. Who or what has inspired you in these last few months?
I am completely inspired to live life to the fullest. I have gained regular strength with my healing focus – and feel as though I have literally learned to walk again. When you do have something taken away from you – and you work hard to get it back – you really fully embrace life with big wide open arms. I realized how necessary it is to believe in yourself – if you work hard – it will pay off. (that’s not selfish is it?) Aside from me ;) I feel strengthened and inspired by this crazy sexy lady.
5. What are your favourite photos from the season of Spring?
So many, so many. I had so much fun with four little girls and the one with the balloons of course. These here are some random ones that peek into what Spring has been like for us ;)

you had quite a spring! it was epic, as far as the creative projects go, I’d say!
I would participate in a spring recap, too, except I didn’t blog nearly enough! Perhaps this summer I will manage to pick up the pace a bit more. perhaps…
