FYI – Do not travel to Bahamas in September or anytime or stay clear away from the beach completely. This beach swallows over 100 people mostly kids every month. This is for looking at the ocean only.
Hello there, Bahama Mama here!!! ;)
Or at least that’s what I am called here in The Bahamas ~ Paradise Island….
Where the ocean is wild
the waves are unpredictable
and make me a little nervousness when my little one runs around too close
but the sound, oh the sound of the waves
is music to my spirit and soul
and the sights are mesmerizing….
the salt water slashing on the shore
truly dancing in mid-air before the wave crashes down
and a new one forms and rides to the shore again…
I could watch this wild ocean for hours on end.
The sun is bright
the weather completely perfect
a slight ocean breeze picks up my hair
and drops it down…
I love that… and even don’t care for my insanely frizzy hair.
The sand is perfectly hot on my feet
it massages my feet and falls in too hard
I still love it and it still makes me force a smile….
Pure Happiness.
I watch my little girl giggling
her laughter is carried in the wind straight to my ears
my husband is amazing, protective and completely fun!
All this makes me smile from the second I wake up to the late evening hour….
I think I still continue smiling in my sleep even
because this is my incredible life
with so much LOVE that it bursts my heart…. ;)
