pure happiness is… the beach

July 10, 2013 by Ella

Something I look forward to each year (oh so much) is our annual trip to the beach. It’s wrapped around a three day camping trip which is also fun. But being at a beautiful beach for three days is something I long for all year long…. Here are some highlights from our trip with our close friends and their kiddos…

Miss this place so much. I fantasized about a beach house right there, where we can take daily walks out on the sand…. ;)

I didn’t take many camping photos because we just hung out there to eat quickly, or to spend the evenings (way too dark for photo taking) or so I thought. Now I realize we don’t have much memories of our 5 star tent hotel ;) Next time ;)

So guys, plan a little trip, even just for a day and get out there and Relax!

One of the reasons we love camping is because it’s inexpensive and I do love to look for the quality in the experience rather than ready-made fancy hotels. For me it’s all about the experience and how to create your own fun! Fun shouldn’t cost thousands of dollars, but for us it was less than $200 with food included to spend a three day weekend in a beautiful place a couple of hours away. And we can’t wait to do it again! ;)

I went the entire camping trip with healthy plant food and I loved everything I ate. And it was quite convenient too and I wasn’t worried about loosing ice in the cooler, like the other people (my husband included) who had to toss out a lot of food because it went bad the next day already. I was thinking of sharing some of the things I bring camping, should I do that? Wish I actually took photos to create a story though… ;)

What are your favourite ways to create a summer experience?
