making things from what?

October 19, 2010 by Ella

You would never think to turn something that’s so commonly used by men, women and children, several times daily – and then at a few week’s time disposed of so easily without a care in the world. Do you ever even consider  holding on to this simple item – – yes, I’m talking about the toilet paper roll!

Check out some of the great things people are creating out of a simple toilet paper roll. This will make you reconsider throwing things away…. ;)

Maybe these seem a little complicated to actually try and make ourselves, huh? Well this idea below is so cute and pretty simple – with enough time before the holidays to pull off.

RhonnaFarrer_ToiletPaperRollWallArtNow this is another cute idea that seems fairly easy to pull off (at least easier than the first two posts ;) Rhonna Designs

And lastly, who could forget the cute OCTOPUS FRIENDS I made with my daughter ;)

amazingly clever–all of them. I can’t believe it never occurred to me to make beauty from that little roll.

those toilet paper roll crafts are SO cool! the little scenes? geez! you know, my kids’ school was asking for tp rolls for their crafts, but i don’t think they’ll be doing anything like this. and now, i have a bunch of them saved up but i don’t think i want to donate them! lol
