jewellery design :: a new passion

October 20, 2010 by Ella

jewellery design-with-fabric-flowers

I must have had a dream of making these… because the other day when I woke up I knew I had a new passion that’s waiting to be expressed! What can I say, I had a VISION and I quickly knew what to get and how to go about doing it…

This new vision and passion is for creating beautiful, elegant jewellery that have a bit of drama in each piece. How do you like my first try at my little masterpieces ;)

jewellery-with-fabric-flowers-3I tried to make something fun and funky that would add pizzazz to a simple outfit. It’s like putting on the final accessory that adds glamour and beauty to your look with simplicity and style!

Well…. the fire’s been stirred up and this obsession passion for making jewellery has began ;) I’m not completely surprised, in my nature I’ve always tried new things – in fact that’s what I do even in my career as a graphic designer and photographer mixed in with product and pattern design – – it’s all a mix on a daily basis. In fact, I never focused on one thing. I never saw any boundaries or limits to my creativity. Question is… what do I do now??? ;D  I know many of my friends/ sisters/ nieces will be getting some as gifts (in fact these two are already across the ocean enjoyed by my teenage nieces as I write this.) (I hope to get a photo shoot from their end soon, modelling their new accessories ;)

For now, I will scour for more scraps of beautiful fabric and start sketching and dreaming of new designs…. we will see where all this will go…. you see – I AM A BIG DREAMER ;)

Hope you’re working on your dreams coming true too….

–

BIG HUGS!

Oooh I love these pieces. They are really lovely. I am a big dreamer too. I drive myself crazy with all the ideas I have but don’t have time to follow through on. I wish you much luck in following your dreams.

I loved the projects in your last post by the way. I am particularly fond of anything that involves cutting paper!
