Homemade Lemonade

Oh Summer… how much I love you….

Bright sunshine, breezy air, pool time and relaxing… and no better way to cool off than with some fresh zesty Homemade Lemonade… right?

Making lemonade here is an-almost daily activity…. It’s because it’s so simple, easy, and all the ingredients are always at hand. That’s because lemons are something we can’t live without!

So you already know this is a simple recipe – perfect for those lazy summer days….
Let’s make Lemonade!

HOMEMADE LEMONADE

{made from simple pure ingredients}

Ingredients :
  • fresh squeezed juice of 2 lemons
  • 2-4 tablespoons of raw honey (or agave nectar if vegan)
  • 1 1/2 litres of filtered water
  • 1 cup ice cubes, optional

 

Directions :

Squeeze lemons. Mix all the ingredients in a jug. Add ice cubes.
Serve immediately to quench your thirst!

So easy, so good and so pure. Beautiful healthy ingredients create a classic delicious summer beverage. Cheers to summer!

    Yum! I love homemade lemonades, including the use of cayenne pepper or freshly ground Thai chiles!

    I’ve been drinking lemon or lime water all summer, but the kids have been craving lemonade lately… We’ll have to make this :)

    Using honey instead of sugar sounds good idea :) I will try it with adding mint leaves :)

    LOVELOVELOVE this alternative to sugar!! I’ve started monitoring my eating habits lately and cut a lot of things out of my diet, but I just can’t get rid of my precious lemonade. This is a great way to keep it healthy!! So does the honey dissolve easily in the water?? I would think it might need to be dissolved in warm water before adding it to the mixture. Just curious! Thank you :)
