holiday gift guide : for the kids

December 13, 2012 by Ella

Christmas is all about making kids happy! It’s all worth it for that little twinkle in their eyes, shouting with joy and that big squeeze of happiness they give you. Give the little ones one thing they really really want!  It’s great if the gifts they get are make them happy – but also that they support happiness in how they are made. Giving all natural, handmade, eco-friendly is a great way make those special gifts true treasures.

Got crafty little ones in your family? Making something together is a wonderful way to spend quality time and create a beautiful little toy with love. We’ve made Happy Sew Lucky plushies before and this was a very special time with my little one and the birds we made still look beautiful today.

1. Handmade solid wood Horse Family by Nova Natural (my daughter’s personal pick!)

2. Little Red Riding Hood PDF pattern *fun to make with kids

3. Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt *one of our favourite books!

4. Sweet Angel sewing pattern kit by Happy Sew Lucky *great kit for the crafty little ones

5. Wooden tea set – cute for those imaginary tea parties ;)

Happy Holidays ~ remember to give with love and give gifts that are !

These are such sweet gifts Ella. Love the Little Red Riding Hood! My kids go more for iPods now unfortunately, although my daughter would love these items too. But there’s no money left once the technology is bought. ;)

Loving these gift guides! Wish I had more little kiddies to shop for…that wooden tea set would totally be on my list.
