Hello dear friends. How are you and how was your weekend? Mine was quite, happy ;D
Happiness is…
We celebrated my favourite holiday, Thanksgiving!
Yes, we are kind of lucky to have it earlier while the weather is still nice, the outdoors are bursting with vibrant colours and the autumn harvest is at its peak with squashes, pumpkins and all other goodness.
I’m quite happy to announce that our dinner table this year was, 95% gluten free and only 2 dishes were non-vegan. (Yes, we still had the turkey ;))
But that’s still quite great for a family who usually went all out with full on wheat & meat!
Best part was : it was incredibly delicious!
We also celebrated my husband’s birthday which just so happened to fall on T-Day ~ hence the cake!
It was a fantastic weekend overall…..
we did end it with a great bonfire after all! ;D
Happiness!

What a pretty table setting! What is the runner made out of? And where can I get one? ;) Looks like you guys enjoyed lots of sweets! We too had a mix of vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes at our Thanksgiving. Our extended family includes vegetarians (my family), meat-eaters who don’t consume dairy or wheat and those with no restrictions. Happiness for me right now is getting tidied up after the long weekend! :)

Thanks Joann ;)
I got the runner at HomeSense a few years ago – it’s made of straw and sewn together with the green thread. It is quite nice and I remember getting it on sale too ;D
That so doesn’t help ~ sorry. But if I ever run into something like this I will let you know ;)

That’s okay! I can simply admire yours. And you reminded me that I have a knit runner that I got at a thrift store that I have yet to use!

Hope you had a great thanksgiving, Ella. From the photos, it sure looks like you did. You are so impressive with your commitment to eating the vegan and GF. What a feast!
