happiness is…

June 25, 2012 by Ella

happiness is…

getting away for the weekend
relaxing
just doing nothing in the fresh outdoors
diving into a new summer book
laughter and silliness
endless conversations
family time
ps. the sausages are my husband’s, I had the vegan burger
and our daughter had a bit of both ;)

what’s making you happy right now?

Yum! Looks good. Cooking over the fire or on the BBQ makes it easy to accommodate different tastes, doesn’t it? How was camping in June? Lots of bugs?

      Thanks Joann ;)
Sorry for the late response… (cutting back my computer time with the summer schedule ;)
No, not a single bug! Made me actually think that they possibly sprayed the park – I think I will be checking into that. lol
It was all great because of our unusually hot June – but the water was a bit chilly – some people still went in – but we’re the very delicate crowd! LOL

Camping also makes me so happy! But with the new house, there won’t be much camping for us this year. So I’ll have to make sure we try to recreate the fun of it in our own backyard :)

As of yesterday, what’s making me happy, is that I decided to quit doing the weekly market (where I haven’t been selling much). Which means I can now craft because I WANT to, not because I HAVE to :) Deciding that removed lots of stress for me, so I’m a happier person now :)

Stephanie, So happy for you to do less. Sometimes it’s the best thing and we get caught up with this craziness sometimes (I do too, and then I pay). You can always revisit that again and maybe it will be a better time for you. For now, even etsy will be great – awesome that there is that outlet now ;)
Happy about your house – there’s so much room that you could probably recreate a camping scene right in your own backyard! ;) xo

    Mmm…happiness is s’mores! Looks so yummy. =)

At the moment, happiness is the extra time I’ve had to read, crochet, cook, and wander about town. I’m really savoring the summer!

Happiness is this yummy quinoa tabbouleh I am having for lunch that was inspired by you!!! Forget the bulgur, wheat-stuff! I feel so much better after quinoa! Thanks sis!
