family friday : fun & freebie

It’s another Friday  yet again. A very special day indeed. It is the first day of April (my goodness where did March go????) and it’s also a new fun time to perk up this Family Friday section. I really enjoy reflecting back on each week and putting together a type of journal that one day I will treasure and help my memory remember the little things and big things that hold the most meaning on that week.

Some of you have already shared your highlights and moments and I choose one comment to share the following week. For that, I thank you for your interaction and for your sharing – it is ever so sweet to read what special things have been happening in your life ;) Here is the fun upgrade to this section. I’ve done a little design of a journal page that I think helps with filling in the dates, the details and has an area to add in photos etc. And guess what? I am attaching a blank template for you to print at home and fill in yourself! Do you like that? Just a little extra sharing from me to say ‘thanks for being here’ ;) If you, my friends, like this, I can create more designs so you have a variety. Please give me feedback how I could make it better ;)

  1. Camping…all weekend. If the weather is nice that is where you will find us! Actually you can’t find us because its one of those places you just have to know how to get there! It’s the best. Everything in life melts away and we can just be.

    Our highlight of the week — a large gathering of moms & kids (ok, it was a playdate, but I hate using that word) for a few hours of play, snacks, and lunch. 7 moms, 6 baby girls, 6 pre-school girls, and one lone preschool-age boy (what a good sport he is!). One of the other moms recently had a miscarriage so we are making an extra effort to get together and just hang out more. I hope it has been helping her, and I suspect it’s been beneficial to the rest of us, as well.

  7. Gabi is such a little sweetheart. I love seeing the pictures of her interacting with Daniel. Sounds like a family fun. We started our big cross country roadtrip on Friday. California to Maryland… the kids are amazing, so believe it or not it really has been FUN. Just to be together. :-)
