family friday : a newsworthy day

Today is a very special day for one little guy in our family. Little Daniel is turning O.N.E. today! Happy Birthday little sweetheart. You are the coolest little nephew ever ;)

My goodness… that year just zoomed by. He is the sweetest baby I’ve ever met. Not a peep comes out of him – on the contrary as it was with my daughter. Here are a few shots of my nephew with his mama taken – well I can’t fool you because of the greenery and the tank tops – in October, I think. But I’m sure you didn’t see this photoshoot just as I’m sure my sister will LOVE seeing them up (most likely for the first time ;).

Ahh… I just love that last shot on the right. A purely blissful mom and baby moment when a little one sweetly goes off to dreamland, still in mama’s arms… And those chubby little wrists – super sweet!

“I love the concept of Family Friday. Ours was pretty pitiful, with still ailing children after a long, hard week, so I won’t focus on that. Instead, I’ll tell you about today, when we strolled to town, where we played in the park and lingered in the bookstore . . . together, all of us well.”

    Wll, we are having quite the family Friday…nd saturday and Sunday! My sister is here visiting with her two foster kids, who happen to be two little girls–perfect! (…and a little bit crazy)

  11. Well, the weekend disappeared, didn’t it? Like Sunshine Mama, I can’t remember exactly what we did on Friday, but I do remember that we were happy! Friday nights are generally quiet, here. We decompress and giggle and love on one another. I’ll take notes this week to add a little detail!
