Hello my friends! Happy Holidays!!!
All that build up and Christmas went by with a blink on an eye… We spent a lovely two-day celebration in the company of our family, great food and fun. It was a busy time with preparation for our dinner and when the guests arrived and food got served ~ I actually took a break from the camera and just relaxed completely. So we don’t have any photos of the dinner or our 8 other guest – seems like when I don’t shoot, no one shoots. I’m happy I had my husband take a few snapshots of me and my little girl at the very end of the night ~ these sepia toned loving photos are now my favourite treasures ;)
We celebrated Christmas Eve at our house, and our tradition goes that Santa actually visits the kids the night of…! When my daughter was very little, he showed up and gave her presents in person. But now that she’s older we’re worried she’ll get too smart for the man in the big red suit…. what ‘he’ usually does, is knocks on the door and leaves presents outside the front door. Quite possibly because he’s rushing so much that he no longer has time to drop in… ;) Still, it’s a great night to celebrate and to open up presents when everyone one’s there and we’re all dressed up ;) We spent the Christmas Day dinner at my sister’s and had a wonderful dinner there with more family ;)
Hope you had a great Christmas as well (if you celebrated) and are having a great Holiday time.
I’ve been taking it easy this week and really slowing down… with my daughter home for the Holidays we’re busy with tons of activities, fun things to do including playing in snow! ;)
I’ll be back hopefully soon with regular blog posts. Till next time.
Wishing you a great New Year’s! ;)

Beautiful, as always! Though I love your photos, I’m always happy to hear when bloggers put down the camera for awhile. =)
Also love the Santa stories. We spent Christmas Eve in a tenth floor apartment, so Santa dropped the presents off on the balcony…the kids were so ecstatic!
