Click on this video and you will have the best start to your day today. I was smiling ear to ear with tears in my eyes at the excitement of this wonderful display of human beings working together and adding happiness to people’s lives. My 3 year old was also in excitement mode and insisted on seeing this clip about 10 times (in one sitting ;). I think she already knows the lyrics ;D Enjoy!
Our Weekend was spent indoors. The temperatures were extreme this weekend so we only got fresh air on our way to and from our car with a warm cozy destination awaiting.
Saturday night, we hung out at our friend’s home with the kids quietly attending to themselves – LOVE THAT. No need for babysitters ;) And Sunday we spent at my sister’s with a big family dinner – I love it when there’s not enough chairs and room around the table for everyone to sit – that means it’s a FULL HOUSE indeed.
And during the day I baked A LOT (for those two outings) and I realized one thing – I bake to avoid cleaning. That’s right, I purposely find some kind of activity to keep me busy so I wouldn’t have to clean. Usually, my activity only creates a bigger mess – but that’s ok, because when your house smells of beautiful apple and cranberry goodness (yes that again ;) and of these carrot pineapple muffins – who cares if the house is messy!
How was your weekend?

What a fantastic video. It really did make me smile. I would love to see that happening in Grand Central.
My weekend sounds very much like yours and yes I believe I bake to avoid cleaning too.

I would love to witness a flash mob! This was so great, I almost stood up to clap at the end, until I remembered I was at my computer desk, lol.
I also baked and crafted with the kids and got no cleaning chores accomplished, other than laundry. So I guess I know what that means for me today ;)
Have a great day!

wowee! that was the best flash mob video I’ve seen yet. It’s the total nerd in me, but flash mobs get me a little teary-eyed. it’s just like you said, there’s something about so many people working together in a pure expression of joy, for the SOLE purpose of making people smile. And to think of how much work went into that one!
