What a great theme for the week…. I linked up 2 recipes. One is our “Best Salad Ever”: Roasted Garlic Tofu Salad with Cilantro Rice, Black Beans and a Mango Salsa… oh so good.
The other is a staple in our house that we keep returning to because it is simple but so delicious and comforting: Dal Bhat (Nepalese Mountain Lentil Curry)
Can’t wait to see what others share as their best recipes. :)

Hi Ella! I must spend more time here! Your posts are so interesting and visually beautiful!
Ok, so it’s not raw but I think my best blog recipe is my grain free plain sponge cake. It took me a week to perfect and we love the little cakes especially because they are suitable for the SCD! They’re sadly not vegan, however, if I get more time, I will perfect my vegan version – I was almost there the last time I made them!
My readers currently seem to like my Rosemary and Garlic Bread Rolls but I feel most proud of my little cakes!
Thank you for hosting! Have an awesome week! x

Oh BTW! I can’t wait to go back to Niagara Falls in a few months and I’m definitely going to spend at least a day at Niagara on the Lake we visited for a couple of hours on our way back from the falls and it just wasn’t nearly enough time!
Have fun on your trip!
Ella says
Vicky, I think I will need to fill you in on some great restaurants and amazing foods to try in the area ;)
And Niagara on the Lake is so wonderful….. yes, you need a full day if not longer to just sit back and enjoy the ‘old town’…. you could also book wine-tasting tours in the local wineries…. beautiful good summer times ;)
ps. your little cakes are adorably scrumptious ;)
Vicky says
Thank you, please email me the restaurants etc! Have you been to Raw Aura?
Laura @ Gluten Free Pantry says
Your site is so incredible-huge fan! I linked up my Vegan Coffee Ice Cream and Grain-Free SunButter Cookies this week. Have a fabulous weekend.
Ella says
Laura ~ love you! ;D
for some reason I couldn’t leave a comment on your blog post – but I’m touched by your post!
Did you seriously serve up a love story along with ice cream?! Oh my, I was smitten with your words… what a beautiful love story… somehow I feel like there needs to be part 2 over possibly another bowl of ice cream…. ;D
Your love really took flight into a beautiful ‘ever after’ ;)
So so sweet and romantic ♥
Congrats!

I tried to join your last potluck party and unfortunately, it wasn’t letting me add my link and picture for some reason :( And then I missed this one, but I love the collection of recipes that everyone posted. They look delicious! I should be able to participate next time, since I’m back on the blogsphere more regularly again ;)
