Hello and welcome to December! The month of magic, holidays, family togetherness, celebrating, gift giving, hot chocolate, gingerbread cookies and a lot more.  It’s a joyous season ~ and it’s a busy month indeed. And  sadly the month that brings this year to a close…. oh my!

Here is a list of 10 things to do in December!

What are you doing this December? Are you excited about the Holidays?

Are you staying home or travelling through this month and at Christmas time? I would love to hear some traditions that you guys have. We had a nice surprise yesterday when grandpa (my fil) showed up with a big Christmas tree!!! Yesss! Looks like we will be getting to it over the weekend. Little Miss G can’t wait ~ and neither can I ;)

How about you are you all done with the tree and home decorating? I’m ready now that it’s December ~ bring on the sparkly lights, memorable ornaments, handmade holiday crafts and that fresh scent of pine… ;)

10 things to do in the fall

Well, whether you like it or not (the weather, that is) Fall is here! I keep forgetting but this really is my favourite time of the year. We’re one week into it and I love love the freshness in the air, the cool breeze that energizes you and the beautiful scenery of changing colours everywhere you look.

In my head I was thinking of things we should do at this gorgeous time of the year – - so I came up with a list (inspired by some amazing fellow bloggers) to put together 10 things to do in the fall.

1. go apple picking

2. go for bike rides

3. throw leaves at each other

4. have an outdoor picnic

5. get canning

6. create a leaf family tree

7. have a bonfire (or a ‘fire bowl’) out in the backyard

8. make pumpkin pancakes

9. knit something warm and cozy

10. accessorize the house with some natural outdoor decorations
