I’m like a kid, excited and giddy, when I see a butterfly. I admire their beauty and love their transformation journey. Their nature is a strong symbol for me, personally, and I now find myself connecting to a a fluttering butterfly even more…
So you could imagine, that our trip to a butterfly conservatory was filled with pure excitement and awe – and my daughter had fun too ;)

Here’s a little photoshop tip for one of the shots above. It was cute already but I found the graphic too distracting. Sorry Backyardigans ;)
Yes, what I should have done, was dress my daughter in a neutral shirt to begin with. BUT, it was a pretty cold day and this was her ‘undershirt’ with a cute sweater on top. Well, I didn’t know that the conservatory was extremely HOT. So if you plan to go, dress in t-shirts and avoid a lot of photoshop work ;)
What I did: I masked out an area with a selection tool and used a clone tool to patch up the graphic. (I totally overuse the clone tool – but the photoshop police haven’t found me yet)

Ah… and this quote, I just LOVE!
Hope you all have a lovely rest of the week! I’m back to finishing off my list ;)

It’s a busy time, the start of the week…. ah those Mondays! I though I would start something small but with possible mighty results – MONDAY MOTIVATION! We all need it, don’t we? So after a weekend of kicking back and doing nothing (my apologies IF you DID have to work ;), i though it would be good to get all our ‘eggs aligned’ or get our ‘stars in one basket’, (sorry, just trying to get a smile out of you ;) and get a good Monday on track. A Monday that’s productive, meaningful and leaves us fulfilled at the end of the day – and then the rest of the week. Even simple productivity, like reading to your kids is fantastic productivity. Or, making that call to the client you should follow up with but are delaying it. Or, getting yourself out for a jog or even speed walk! That’s terrific productivity.
