Although we’ve celebrated Thanksgiving already, I can’t get enough of these beautiful ideas to dress up the table. I also love these for winter entertaining anytime leading up to the Christmas Season. My favourite part about fall and winter is the warmth and coziness of your home shared with your close friends and family….

Nuts About Candles Centerpiece from Good Housekeeping
This string of blessings is simple, rustic, and heartwarming would look great running down the centre of your table. It would also be great instead of making it on your own, allow all your guests to write their own blessings or words of gratitude, which you then attach and twist around your table. (adhesive labels would make this easy).

And this last photo I think is my absolute favourite! That is such a great inspirational centrepiece with all those acorns.
I need to quickly go for a walk on a wooded trail and snatch some supplies – before the squirrels get to them all ;)

Oh I am so loving fall/ winter entertaining…. there’s nothing better than to prepare a nice meal, light some candles to set the wintery mood and have fun with your close ones….
I am completely grateful for my husband to stick by through our ups and downs of life. All you need is LOVE at the end of the rope. I am blessed to have such a fun, cheerful beautiful daughter. I know I have people in my life I can always lean on and they can lean right back – I’m here for them. I’m just blessed to have kind people in my life to have been there for me in the last 3 years especially. I am so happy that my health is improving and I can enjoy the little things in life.
What are you thankful for this time of the year?

Oh I love the string of blessings. I’m always so busy trying to get food on the table, I tend to forget the decorating. The squash salad looks like my perfect meal. I have all the ingredients in my kitchen right now so I might be eating that in the next couple of days.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
i love the string of blessings idea! and the candles in the lentils – i usually use popcorn kernels with white tea lights but the darker lentils and orange candles would be perfect this time of year!
