My dear friend Sylvia is having a baby soon! So exciting – and she’s looking super cute with her huge belly. I couldn’t resist but to do a belly photo shoot for her. Take a look at some of the photos – hope you like them ;)

This will be her second baby, and another girl…. this will be great as the two sisters will definitely be BFF at first sight ;)
As a side note, it is – by the way – the HARDEST thing to pull off a photoshoot with a little hyper toddler running around. (I’ll also point out that my little Gabriella was also running around them all the time). Here’s a toddler photography tip: forget posing, cross your fingers and take what you can get. lol.

We were on a little ‘cottage’ vacation, just us girls (2 moms + 2 daughters) at my mom’s home in Niagara Falls. We were  laughing at how my mom’s ‘fixer upper’ home looks perfect for our photo shoot. We looked for paint peeling off or cracks in the wall, for that added ‘character’ ;)  We had a blast – my friend loved playing the MODEL and I loved playing the PHOTOGRAPHER.

We collaborated on the look and style and threw on a very sexy outfit (hey, pregnancy can be SEXY ;) it was a gypsy-inspired outfit that really worked well with the background. She looked BEAUTIFUL!

Oh yes, there was a little bit of belly dancing going on – did I not say we have FUN. What was the most fun is that I loved having the camera on me and looking for great moments to capture the excitement and beauty of pregnancy.

This last shot is my favourite. it’s for you Sylvia – do you like it??? Thanks for being such a good sport on that hot day and for letting me do this photo shoot. The photos turned out amazing – there’s lots still for you, but this is just a peak to make your day today.  xoxo

With this photo shoot, I learned that I just LOVE photography even more than I thought. It wasn’t just a photo shoot – it was a passion that I was able to express creatively and physically (the latter because I’m finally getting my strength back to hold a heavy Canon digital SLR in my hands for an hour ;)  Am I ready to take the next step and get back to the physically demanding world of PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY?  I don’t know – but I do know that I love it – I mean I LOVE IT, and I’m currently working on the MAGIC OF MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE, right after I have a cookie ;)
