In honour of the Olympics, we are having a Potluck Party dedicated to International Recipes! Because what else do the olympics represent? Sharing our differences globally and coming together to celebrate our best! Essentially that’s what our Potluck Parties are about ;) Now we get to celebrate and share the best of our roots in international cuisine or simply the best international recipes we love to eat!
Share your healthy internationally inspired dishes right here. They don’t need to be authentic recipes, although these would be greatly appreciated… any recipes with a hint of that culture will be wonderful to inspire others to make something different.
What country are you rooting for at the Olympics and what is your favourite international food?
Please just a reminder that this is a mostly Vegan and gluten free party. Some exceptions such as ancient grains like spelt and kamut or the use of honey are allowed. No artificial or processed ingredients and no refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, ingredients etc. We’re striving for healthy all-natural recipes! ps. your recipes do not have to contain all the ingredients from the garden – it’s just an inspiration point. Any seasonal veggies and fruit recipes that combine other ingredients will be great ;)
Our last Raw Food Recipes Potluck Party was a huge success – the recipes shared were simply Rawlicious! – if you have not visited the page yet – you must! Thank you to everyone who participated and ‘brought’ their favourite raw dish to the party!
Thank you! Don’t forget to Spread the excitement!
ps. If you are linking up, don’t forget to spread the word where your fantastic recipe has been shared! Simply, click ‘like’ at the bottom of the post to tell your friends where your recipe has been! Everyone is invited… so if you have friends who you think might like to join the Party, please let them know.
For this Olympics International Recipes theme, it’s a great time to think globally and invite more friends to celebrate our different cultures and tastes!

I shared my Onion Bhajis today because we love them! I know they’ve appeared before at one of your parties but I don’t see why they can’t make another appearance!
Are you enjoying The Games?
Hugs x
Vicky, your Onion Bhajis are so awesome – it was one of the recipes that my husband right away noticed at the party before and I promised I’d make them…. but it ended up so hot that turning the oven on was not an option ;)
Thanks for the reminder and now I can’t wait to make them this weekend for sure ;)
The games are great – we watch a bit here and there. The trampoline jumps were hypnotizing ;P made me wish for some Cirque du Soleil! ;D LOL
How is the Olympic craze in the UK? Is the fun vibe everywhere? I bet ;)
Cheers!
Love indian inspired dishes – I haven’t seen any of the olympics…..we don’t have cable really don’t keep up with it.
I love Indian dishes too! But don’t like it when it gets insanely spicy!!! That’s why I prefer to make indian inspired dishes at home than to eat out.
Your stew recipe sounds divine – I will have to whip that some time soon! ;D
The Olympics are fun to watch but we can’t possibly be glued to the tv all day ;)
LOL
Cheers Heather! Have a lovely weekend! xo
Those Onion Bhajis look delicious. I haven’t seen too much of the games bc we don’t have cable and my antennae is freaky. I did see some of the poorly broadcast (by NBC) gymnastics and swimming competitions. NBC is so horrendous I have a hard time enjoying them even when I can watch. I also get super nervous for the athletes.
xo
Angela, so great that you stopped by ;)
We have an antenna hooked up – nothing better than free tv – who needs 1000 channels anyway!? ;P So we watch bits of it – mind you, we only get clips of the games where Canada competes – so not too many…. ;) and there’s not a lot of triumphs over the medals here (um… yet ;P)
Gets me and my daughter excited about jumping on the trampoline! ;)
xoxo Have a great weekend!

Love this idea! Of course I’m rooting for Canada, even though I love so many different kinds of International cuisine. Can’t wait to see what everyone else is cooking up. :)
Wish I had time to share but I’m busy packing. BUMMER! I’m rooting for team U.S.A.! I also like international cuisine so what’s linked so far looks really good.
