Good morning everyone! I thought it would be good to give you a sneak peek into our home… just because…. you’re like my friends by now – we have coffee/ tea together, have a good time, right? so why don’t you come inside and make yourself even more comfortable….
This is a new lantern I got! Isn’t it just spectacular ;)
our living room space has a warm rustic modern comfort design. I love dark rich woods, elephants, and sharp fresh contrast between white/cream and dark brown/espresso finishes. I found this shawl in my reorganizing of closets yesterday and I thought it would be perfect for my coffee table…. i love that – when things double up, this time adding a fashion accessory to a home interior….
I’ve been busy the last couple of days organizing and cleaning the closets – mainly packing up summer things, {insert sad whimpering sobbing sounds here} waaaaa…. it’s ok, it’s ok. love the warmth of cozy blankets and candles burning….
i love photo frames. love them. there’s always a frame or two sitting around still with it’s original facepaper in it waiting to be personalized. currently i’m redoing/ reprinting some photos – it’s the hardest job to choose the right photos – i have too many great ones of my daughter, of our family, of nature, travels…
there’s many toys laying around all the time… like i said this is a sneak peek….
just a little peek into my kitchen. the rest is too messy ;P . this kitchen drawer cabinet was a new purchase from kijiji. a beautiful $500 cabinet – for $50 SCORE! The seller’s name was also Ella so i think she liked me and went with it…. (she was asking for $100 – i’m still good right! ;)
last peek today is into my home office. it’s undergoing a massive transformation into this black & white eclectic glamour chic design – i still don’t know what to really call it… that should do it for now. it’s our master bedroom that was created into my home office – best idea ever! so it has a lot of room to play with, literally, as my daughter is in this room all the time – it will end up both mommy and daughter friendly – i hope ;)
i hope you enjoyed your stay, i just took my last sip of my morning tea (green with agave nectar – yum), so it’s time to go and start my work day, but first i will go on a quick brisk walk and energize so i can come in to work ‘pretending’ i’m going off and coming to work. Ha!

I got the elephant sculpture at Home Sense (a chain store in Canada)
I’m not sure what wholesaler it’s from because I removed the tag when I
got it.
I will let you know if I ever come across it again.
It is beautiful, it makes feel inspired every time I look at it.
