Oops. I should have added a comma up there ;D
So what’s this about??? Today is National Children’s Day (although it’s NOT in every contry, I just learned) - it’s a fun day for kids – so this is about having fun with your kids. Eventually this may be a gift filled day – I hope not – but for now it’s a fun craft day!
W decided to make some Octopuses from toilet paper rolls. You’ll need: toilet paper rolls, crunched up paper, craft paint + paintbrush, some ribbon and felt, plus glue and scissors. The hat is optional, I used an artificial flower petal and a little flower and attached it with glue.
I hope the pictures explained a lot. Easy. Easy. Easy. This is what to do when you’re waiting for the paint to dry:
So how did you spend the Kid’s Day? Do you really celebrate or it’s just another day in your household? I remember when I was little, my mom would take us to a church celebration and we’d get a bag of candy and nick-nacks. It was always a fun day. I’m sure we will do lots of local celebration type activities next time. We did have a great weekend so I’m sure my daughter’s not complaining ;D
