Mother’s Day is approaching and I want to share with you some of the beautiful pieces I have with Gustav Klimt’s painting of The Three Ages of Woman. Gustav Klimt was an Austrian painter, 1862 – 1918. The Three Ages of a Woman is a painting of 3 women which you seldom see as a sellable product – the version that captivates most is the crop of the mother holding her daughter.
The Three Ages of Woman (cropped) – Art Canvas
This one shown above is an art canvas from Ikea. It hangs in my living room and it was a gift from my husband for no occasion at all, one day when our daughter looked pretty much like the one in the painting.
The rest of the gift items are actually from my mother-in-law, who was the first to spot our resemblance in this painting.
This is a pretty little decorative plate I love to look at. I found the same one plus a few other gorgeous goodies.
These beautiful espresso cups can be found here.
Then I have a postcard print on my Art Wall in my home office that I showed here.
One more thing… I knew my hair style was changing and my daughter was growing so fast, and I asked my husband to do a little 2 minute photoshoot of me and my daughter in a pose similar to Klimt’s. This is what we ended up getting with my incredible arm weakness and a fidgeting 2 year old, not to mention a bad hair day for both of us…. I am glad we did it though.
