We didn’t do much ‘romantic’ per se – - oh we wanted to, but we ended up with a sick little princess in the house (again), so our dinner plans got cancelled. And with a few rough nights of sleep with a sick baby – my husband did something quite romantic in my book. He said last night ‘why don’t you sleep in the other room so you get better rest for tomorrow’… I thought that was sweet ;) Although as a mother I felt like my world collapsed, ‘but I want to be there for her’… well, he convinced me in the end. And with me being up most of Saturday night and dealing with the drama (and my aching heart for feeling helpless for my wee one), this was actually a great idea. Thank you sweets, that is romance at it’s best in my book. And today, I can cuddle all day long with my little Valentine ;)
Oohh, I almost forgot, I also got an awesome mani-pedi-massage gift certificate bundle for a cool spa. (well, truth be told I found out about it last week – on purpose so it’s NOT a Valentine’s Day gift). You see, my husband is a non-participant of this holiday. But he still got me a gift which just happened to fall near that holiday. He’s that kind of a guy ;)
To kick off another week. Here is a beautiful video that I’m sure you will enjoy. It will make you appreciate the miracle in you. Take a look:
Have a sweet and lovely Valentine’s Day today and a great start to your week!
How was your weekend? Did you get to celebrate with some romance?
