Happiness is…
summertime in all its glory
the heat, the warm air,
and the beach ~ the best part of all
sand in my toes, water swooshing on my feet
hearing my daughter’s laughter bouncing
from the waves
the sunshine putting a smile on my face
ah, those lazy days
you can get addicted to them
they make you dizzy
from spinning around in the sand,
which you do.
they make you feel restless
from laying down on a blanket too long
feet in the hot sand,
which you do.
they make you feel life’s in slow motion
oh happiness it is.
so hard to come back to reality
back to everyday life…
but we’re back….
and the best part is sleeping in your own bed
after a little trip away from home.

This beach is unbelievable Flora ~
it’s off Lake Huron, Pinary provincial park. Kind of local if a 3 hour drive isn’t a big deal to you ;)
But it is worth the drive – the beach strips are unbelievable, although we’ve been to a different spot and it had no stones (but I thought the stones were a good massage to the feet) ;)
