…hearing a knock on the door
and seeing my sister surprise us
with an unplanned visit all the way from Australia!!!

Hello my friends! Things are a little crazy around here ~ I’m so behind with my post today and things are still unreal!

My younger sister has been living in the land down under for the last year and a half, she was there to finish her degree so the plan was that she’s going only for 1 year. Well, her stay sort of extended as she fell madly in love with an Aussie young ‘mate’ ;) She did announce she’s coming for Christmas but gave as a made up date! Of course I had no idea she lied. Oh she bought her plane tickets alright but not for next Monday as she promised but for um…, yesterday!

So the time was about 10:30 in the evening, we’re doing little things around the house, the little babe was sleeping – and we hear a knock on our door! Ahhh – there she was, my little sister after a 30 hr flight!  So much fun and excitement ~ but most of all disbelief that she is here (with the new man) yikes! They both look so happy and in love. I am so happy for you my little chickpea ;)

The master plan of spontaneously surprising our family members continues as they are currently en route to Niagara Falls to surprise my mom!

Right now, happiness is… laughter . hugs . love . sharing stories . understanding our mother (like only sisters could ;) . seeing my little sister all grown up, in love and happy . approving the guy she took home as a souvenir . seeing my daughter adoring her aunt and new uncle as though they didn’t miss a day of her life . more and more laughter. and more hugs
